Day after Thanksgiving!
We hope you and your family had a warm, happy Thanksgiving yesterday and found time for good food, good company, and maybe a little music. As the long weekend continues, we’re wishing you safe travels, cozy rest, and simple moments together — singing a favorite song, sharing a short living-room performance, or just enjoying the peace after a busy week.
We’re grateful to be part of your musical lives and look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for joyful learning next week!
Lessons are ON starting Monday, December 1
Our Thanksgiving week holiday continues from Monday 11/24 through Sunday 11/30. No regular lessons during this period.
Winter Quarter: December, January, February

Recitals
Signups for our Winter Studio Recitals, “Christmas & The Holidays” on Thursday, December 18 and Monday, December 22, 2025, evening at the Norman P. Murray Community Center in Mission Viejo are underway online (6 options to choose from, some are filling up):

Forum the First Weekend in December
Performing music for others should be enjoyable and rewarding experiences. Practice performing at Forum to make it easier and easier! Plus, receive some additional one-on-one coaching from awesome teachers.
Our next Forum sessions are (30 minute sessions):
Friday, December 5, 7:30 & 8:00 pm
Saturday, December 6, 8:15 am & 8:45 am
Sunday, December 7, 5:00 & 5:30 pm
Forum is offered the first Friday, Saturday, & Sunday of each month. You do not need to register in advance… just show up and participate! Forum takes place upstairs in Suite 205 of the Laguna Niguel School of Music, 30110 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677.
Concert Performance Team (CPT)
Congratulations to our CPT for the most recent performance at Freedom Village in Lake Forest. They gave residents a remarkable gift of their beautiful and challenging music!
Our next CPT performance is on Sunday 12/21/25, at Sea Bluffs Retirement Community in Dana Point.
Our studio CPT performs in special/additional monthly concerts for appreciative audiences at different locations and venues throughout Orange County. Some students earn community service hours & credits for giving their gift of music to others! Email the office to express interest in joining!
Q: Can we attend more than one recital?
A: Yes! Students are encouraged to perform as often as possible, and as often as they would like. Most students enjoy performing once per quarter, but for those students who are striving to become rock-solid, fearless performers, are preparing for auditions or exams, or who just love performing, or if larger families are unable to attend at the same day and time, students may perform at more than one of the quarterly studio recitals. Please complete one form for each recital, and send us a note.
