(In-studio, Laguna Niguel, for youth piano or guitar small group lessons)

Schedule your introductory music lesson here!

An introductory lesson is required for youth music students ages 3 to 17 who wish to enroll in piano or guitar small group lessons. Guitar can be acoustic or electric. Adult students, advanced students, and all students who wish to enroll in private individual lessons, other instruments, voice, music or video production, or art should enroll directly or request an ensemble audition (choir, woodwinds, brass, strings, drumline, or rock band).

Introductory music lessons are 30 minutes and cost $49.

You choose the date and time. All introductory music lessons take place on Saturdays or Sundays during the day.

At your introductory music lesson, a qualified music instructor will learn about your musical interests, goals, needs, level, and ambitions, teach you some fun musical skills, and get to know you. Your introductory music lesson will help us place you with the right teacher in the best possible small group learning environment for you, once you enroll in ongoing lessons.

As your introductory music lesson serves as a placement assessment for small group lessons, there may be up to three other students in your session with you. (Please do not schedule an introductory lesson if you are interested in private individual lessons. Instead, call 949-844-9051 for assistance, or enroll here!)

“Dr. Dennis is very encouraging and patient. He also cares very much about his students being lifelong pianists so he makes sure that my son is enjoying what he is playing and regularly allows him to learn/play pieces he is interested in. In that same vein, Dr. Dennis is great at picking pieces that he knows my son will enjoy; my son will simultaneously be learning a Beethoven movement and a contemporary piece like Bohemian Rhapsody. We are very happy and grateful to have Dr. Dennis as our piano teacher!
