Teaching & Careers

Teaching Jobs for Beginners and Experts

NOTE ABOUT JOB OPENINGS: While this page mostly discusses music teaching positions and music teacher job opportunities, we also are seeking office staff, quality assurance team members, and special projects. We provide training to everyone (learn while you earn).

TEACHERS and POTENTIAL TEACHERS: In addition to experts who have a music degree, teaching credentials, and many years of teaching experience, we also specialize in training beginner and inexperienced music teachers who are skilled musicians and eager to learn how to teach. The Dennis Frayne Music Studios teaches teachers! We will provide training and mentorship as you work toward certification in our curriculum, methods, and teaching philosophies and strategies. When you have completed our training (provided), and gain experience, you will become an expert music teacher, who will teach with confidence, wisdom, and true expertise. Learn while you earn! Ultimately, you may become a leader in your field of expertise, and teach and mentor other teachers.

Our curriculum, methods, philosophies, and strategies are exemplary and appropriate for today’s youth - they are founded on healthy and positive teaching and learning principles, and are not rooted in outdated thinking like so many commercial method books. So many method books out there are not only tedious and boring but problematic in many ways, yet too many teachers don’t yet understand the harm they cause to students. Some teachers realize it late in their careers. Don’t become a teacher who, after years of teaching, wishes to go back and start over, and says, “I want to apologize to all my students for teaching them the way I was taught, which I have now learned is all wrong, and even harmful.” This is the plight of so many music teachers today, especially piano teachers. Instead, learn an exceptional approach from the beginning that helps students come to love making music, love taking piano lessons, learn healthy, tension-free playing techniques, and perform with confidence and ease.
