Schedule your music ensemble audition here!
An ensemble audition is required for youth music students ages 8 to 17 who wish to enroll and participate in vocal or instrumental small group lessons — what we put together and host as collaborative music ensembles. Piano and guitar students wanting small group lessons must schedule an introductory music lesson. Adult students, advanced students, and all students who wish to enroll in private individual lessons for all instruments, voice, music or video production, or art should enroll directly.
Ensemble auditions are offered four times per year (once per quarter). All ensemble auditions take place on Saturdays or Sundays during the early afternoon.
At your ensemble audition, a qualified music instructor will learn about your musical interests, goals, needs, level, and ambitions, and teach you some useful musical skills. Your ensemble audition will help us recommend and place you in the best possible learning environment for you.
Use this form to schedule your music ensemble audition at our Laguna Niguel School of Music location on Crown Valley Pkwy near Niguel Road. It’s super easy!

“Dr. Dennis is very encouraging and patient. He also cares very much about his students being lifelong pianists so he makes sure that my son is enjoying what he is playing and regularly allows him to learn/play pieces he is interested in. In that same vein, Dr. Dennis is great at picking pieces that he knows my son will enjoy; my son will simultaneously be learning a Beethoven movement and a contemporary piece like Bohemian Rhapsody. We are very happy and grateful to have Dr. Dennis as our piano teacher!
