December 5, 2025: Friday Medley
Happy Friday!
It’s wonderful to hear all the Christmas and holiday music being played around the music studio and in homes! Sometimes as I listen to my students in their lessons, I imagine sitting near a warm living room fireplace as they play beautiful holiday music in the evening. And it also brings back memories of my childhood, singing Christmas carols for family and friends in our neighborhood. (My mom loved to organize caroling tours!)
We’re grateful to be part of your musical lives and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our upcoming recitals!

Recitals
Signups for our Winter Studio Recitals, “Christmas & The Holidays” on Thursday, December 18 and Monday, December 22, 2025, evening at the Norman P. Murray Community Center in Mission Viejo are underway online (5 options still to choose from, one so far has filled up):

FSP (Families Support Performers)
Our Families Support Performers program is ongoing for our Winter recitals. We appreciate the families who have signed up to help out at our studio recitals so far! You can sign up for upcoming recitals when you register for the recital, and also here:

Forum Tonight and This Weekend!
Performing music for others should be enjoyable and rewarding experiences. Practice performing at Forum to make it easier and easier! Plus, receive some additional one-on-one coaching from awesome teachers.
Our next Forum sessions are (30 minute sessions):
Friday, December 5, 7:30 & 8:00 pm
Saturday, December 6, 8:15 am & 8:45 am
Sunday, December 7, 5:00 & 5:30 pm
Forum is offered the first Friday, Saturday, & Sunday of each month. You do not need to register in advance… just show up and participate! Forum takes place upstairs in Suite 205 of the Laguna Niguel School of Music, 30110 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677.
Concert Performance Team (CPT)
Our next CPT performance is on Sunday 12/21/25, at Sea Bluffs Retirement Community in Dana Point.
Our studio CPT performs in special/additional monthly concerts for appreciative audiences at different locations and venues throughout Orange County. Some students earn community service hours & credits for giving their gift of music to others! Email the office to express interest in joining!
Holiday Vacation & Off-Days
Our schools are closed for the holidays from Monday, December 22, 2025, through Friday, January 2, 2026. No regular lessons during this period. Lessons are ON starting Saturday, January 3. Our second day of winter recitals is on December 22, even though there are no lessons!
Q: If we have to miss our lesson to attend a recital, can we request a make-up music lesson?
A: Yes! We strive to offer multiple recital sessions over more than one day and with more than one time, so that you have as many opportunities as possible. However, if you must miss a lesson in order to attend a recital, please feel free to Request a Make-up Music Lesson.
Q: Do you teach other lessons besides music?
A: Yes! Instrumental and vocal music account for most of our lessons, but we also offer lessons in other musical and non-musical creative areas, including music theory & musicology, composition & songwriting, music production, fine art (drawing and painting), graphic design, video editing, and voice-over. We also offer general education tutoring in math, reading, and other content areas, and we have a homework club!
Students who take more than one lesson per week, whether on musical instruments or other creative / technical lessons or tutoring, can save a bit on their upscaled membership! Email or call us to find out more.
