Happy Friday!
Father’s Day
Father's Day offers a wonderful reminder of the important role fathers and father figures play in our lives. Music has long reflected these relationships through folk songs, children's songs, lullabies, hymns, and traditional melodies passed from one generation to the next. Beloved songs such as Wayfaring Stranger speak of a longing to reunite with loved ones, including a father, while familiar children's songs like This Old Man have brought parents and children together through singing for generations.
Many beloved songs celebrate family, guidance, heritage, and the passing down of wisdom and traditions. Folk favorites such as The Riddle Song, My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean, and All the Pretty Little Horses, along with classics like Daddy Sang Bass, remind us that music has always been one of the ways families share stories, values, and memories. Whether through a lullaby at bedtime, a song around the piano, a church hymn, or a favorite family tradition, music helps connect generations. This Father's Day, we celebrate not only fathers, but also the musical moments and memories that bring families together.
Studio is OPEN This Weekend, Lessons are ON
Father’s Day is Sunday, June 21. We will be open (lessons are ON) all weekend, including Sunday! We will wish all our fathers a wonderful and special day! (There is no CPT recital on Sunday.)

Summer Recitals - Signups Available Online
Our Summer Quarter Studio Recitals will take place on Saturday, August 15, afternoon & early evening, at Shepherd of the Hills, Mission Viejo. Sign ups are now available - click here.
FSP (Families Support Performers)
We appreciate the families who sign up to help out at our studio recitals, and provide decorations and gift bags! You can sign up for upcoming recitals when you register for the recital, or email the Office.
Concert Performance Team
There is no CPT recital in June. Our next CPT performance will take place Sunday, July 19, at Freedom Village in Lake Forest.
Our studio CPT performs in special/additional monthly concerts for appreciative audiences at different locations and venues throughout Orange County. Some students earn community service hours & credits for giving their gift of music to others! Email the office to express interest in joining!
