Last Call for Destination Recital
Two days to go! We must reach the minimum number of participants by April 5th, to move forward with our Destination Recital. If you are interested in attending, don’t wait… sign up before April 5th!
This year’s (2026) annual Destination Recital is scheduled to take place on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 9, all day. We will travel by train to the Namba Performing Arts Center, located in historic downtown Ventura. We will leave in the morning, have lunch, perform the recital in the afternoon, attend a special event / activity after the recital, and then enjoy an ice cream treat before we head home! Each student will receive a recital t-shirt, certificate, and fun gift bag! Sign up before April 5th here!
Save the Date for Summer Recitals
Our Summer Quarter Studio Recitals will take place on Friday & Saturday, August 14 & 15, afternoon & early evening, at Shepherd of the Hills, Mission Viejo. Sign ups will become available in early April.
FSP (Families Support Performers)
We appreciate the families who sign up to help out at our studio recitals, and provide decorations and gift bags! You can sign up for upcoming recitals when you register for the recital, or email the Office.
Concert Performance Team
Our next CPT recital will be Sunday April 19, 2026 at Sea Bluffs in Dana Point.
Our studio CPT performs in special/additional monthly concerts for appreciative audiences at different locations and venues throughout Orange County. Some students earn community service hours & credits for giving their gift of music to others! Email the office to express interest in joining!

After Spring Break, playdates continue on most Wednesday and Saturday mornings, 10:30-11:15 am. Bring friends, and find us near the playgrounds!
Spring Break
We are in the midst of our Spring Break scheduled off-period, from April 1 to April 9 2026. The school is closed; no regular lessons during this vacation time. (Also no Forum during this period; we will host Forum on May 1, 2, & 3.)
Blessed Holy Week, Happy Easter, and Happy Spring to all!

Q: Are Mommy & Me piano lessons small group lessons?
A: Only in the sense that the Mommy and the child are a small group together, but not with other moms or children. Our strategy for Mommy & Me (Parent & Me) lessons are individual private lessons, where the mom (parent) learns the piano, and the child (age 0-2) observes and participates in musical activities related to the piano and music in general, in the lesson and at home.
One day, when the child turns 3, then they can start taking lessons on their own, or join a small group of toddlers. And the parent can continue lessons on their own, too! Parents and children can continue to practice, play duets, and make music in the home together as a family.
Another option for group Mommy & Me music activities is our FREE weekly Music Playdates in the Parks.
